So I've done a super brief intro right there, but for people who don't know who you are, please tell them a little bit about yourself.

Yeah, so I'm a freelance writer.

So I've written four places like the spectator, the new statesman, unheard, the independent.

But I'm pretty much exclusively writing on Substack right now.

So I have the newsletter called Girls where I'm talking about kind of the challenges facing girls and young women in the modern age, whether it's social media or cultural shifts, like the new kind of social justice culture that we're seeing or family breakdown.

Kind of all of these new things in pretty much the last decade that have really impacted young women and I think are contributing to this kind of huge mental health crisis that we're seeing now.

I hear that there's a lot that we can get into on a lot of these subjects.

But tell me a little bit about your background.

What is it that led you up to being where you are right now?

Yeah, so I started writing at the start of the lockdowns.

So during that really like politically charged time with the so the lockdowns, but also blood lives matter protests, kind of that kind of woke social justice, whatever you want to call it, thinking was really amping up.

So I started commenting on that, just pitching to places, kind of writing about how divisive it was, how it was distracting us from real issues.

But I started to find that I was more interested in how that world view is kind of affecting young people's mental health, so you know, it's not good for you to have that world view where everything is kind of the system is out set up against you.

And you're looking for kind of repression everywhere.
