Hi, Don, how are you doing today?

Thank you for having me. My pleasure. Listen, a quick question before we get into your story. Are you using your talents doing work that you love? Oh, without question. I absolutely am. As a matter of fact, it was something that I think it was destined to be, but you don't know it at the time. Yes, we want to hear the whole story. Thank you.

Susan Cartier-Lebel is the founder and CEO of Solo Practice University, the only online

education and professional networking community for lawyers and law students who want to create and grow

their solo small firm practices.

She's a wife, mother, mentor, avid traveler, and all around curious about life and the planet we inhabit.

So with that brief introduction, Susan, tell us what you're up to now and what has you

excited and fascinated.

Well, I'm pleased to say that this year we just celebrated six years of having

Solo Practice University online.

Solo Practice University is a brainchild of mine, and what's exciting about it is that

this idea that I created something out of the ether, but just because I was inspired to do so,

it is actually the only online educational and professional networking sites for lawyers and law students

who want to go out there and create something on their own.

It's a little known fact, but probably more than half of all lawyers out there, and we're

talking about close to 1.3 million lawyers, are solo practitioners. And yet, in law school,
