Well, hey, everyone. Welcome to the first podcast of the new year. I am really excited to be coming to you from our brand

new podcast studio that we built over the time that I was on sabbatical. For anyone who's new around here,

I always take a sabbatical

throughout the month of December, a little bit at the end of November, a little bit at the

beginning of January. And it's just a time to seek the Lord for what he has for this ministry

in the coming year. It's time for me to just disconnect from traveling and from making content

and spend time with my family. We had a wonderful Christmas season together. I baked a ton of

bread. I baked all sorts of different cookies and muffins and all sorts of things. I had a wonderful

time. And then by the end of it, I was starting to get

pretty excited to get back to making podcasts and writing and all of that good stuff. So if you

haven't noticed, we're in a new space. And this was built entirely by my husband while we were

on sabbatical. So all of this is his skill, his vision,

his endless hard work, and I'm so grateful. And I'm grateful to show it to you. And again,

if you're new here, what we love to do on this podcast is equip you as a Christian to identify the core beliefs of historic

Christianity, discern its counterfeits, and proclaim the gospel with clarity, kindness, and

truth. And in this first episode of the New Year, what I wanted to do was address what I see

as seven dangerous ideas that are invading or infiltrating the church. And we're also going to take

your questions at the end. So if you want to, you can put questions in any time. Just please use a

cue or the word question, and that will help us to kind of sift through and get to your questions.

So I want to let you know about some upcoming podcasts that we have very excited about.

I have two that I actually recorded at the old studio that will come out.
