This is the time of year if you live in an area at all like mine where weeds are a thing.

And if you don't stay on top of them, they become a huge thing.

And then they become so big, and I know this because I had to use a shovel, and I needed to sharpen

the shovel to hack at these weeds that were bordering my property that's right now surrounded

by two vacant lots.

So we got weeds everywhere.

And they grow fast and they become huge and unwieldy

and you can't get the taproot out

and then they just come back again

and you feel like you're totally fighting an uphill battle and you are.

And if you just stay on top of it and pull them when they're super tiny, walk around

for 10 minutes and pull all those little tiny weeds you don't have a problem but

when you wait for me to get big and thick and strong suddenly it looks very

unappealing to spend an evening weeding so you pass and then they get bigger

and thicker and stronger so you pass again they get bigger thicker or stronger the vicious cycle bigger and

thicker, thicker, stronger.
