Good morning my friends and welcome back to the Lid Bill Change

podcast my name is Carrie Green and this is the morning mindset morning

mindset what is that all about?

Well, in my view, in my experience in life.

I wake up every morning with, you know, a different set of software, so to speak, running

than was running the night before. You know I may have had a great day, I may have been very productive, I may have had some great connections with family members, you know, all kinds of reasons to have my mindset in a positive place but then when I wake up in the morning

something happens overnight I don't know if it's dreams or just the way biology works but my my brain, my mind just kind of resets to the default setting.

And for us, fallen human beings, that default setting is one of sinfulness.

I mean, we wake up self-centered, we wake up thinking of all the negative,

the aches and the pains, and depending on how you're wired,

you may even wake up feeling discouraged or condemned

or things like that.

And so the morning mindset is my attempt to help all of us get our minds off of all that junk

that we often wake up with and put our minds intentionally in a place that will be helpful

for that day and we're not thinking too far ahead.

Let's just think about this day, you know, Jesus said, each day has enough trouble of its own so the morning

mindset is here to help and so this morning I wanted to jump into one of the

sections of scripture that's perhaps one of the most important and it's hard to say that about scripture because it's all important

But I want to look at Romans chapter 3 and we're going to skip down to verse number 21 to begin our conversation this morning and this is a section that's kind of

encapsulating the fullness of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ.

And the reason I wanted to start here is because often how we perceive life to be going
