This tension exists in the West and in Eastern thought between pursuing individual enlightenment or being, you know, making the world a better place, basically, and helping mankind.

So the tension is, people would say, well, look, if you get to engage with public life and trying to help other people, you can kind of drag themselves crazy that way if you don't look after your own mental health.

You know, like you might start to get too worked up about the injustices that you perceive in society,
