I should never see that hour with my open eyes we both had late nights but we were we were not together that's true I actually think when I woke up at 6 30 you're like you had just texted me or something

and you're like yeah I just got home. Yeah yeah so we're we're recording this no Travis just because of this weird recording schedule I just got back from the Minnesota

post time just a bit ago I mean I got home at like it was probably like 5 a.m. before I climbed into bed it's like 4 p.m. now so I slept for like 10 hours

because I didn't sleep at all during that convention and then so how how long when did you get there because you you don't live in Minnesota for those that folks who don't know.

Yeah so the Minnesota Pokemon was in St. Louis Park Minnesota if I'm not mistaken I could probably maybe I'm getting the city wrong but around St. Louis Park Minnesota and they invited my they invited us out about two weeks ago.

So very last minute on on their part and my part and I was like okay I can at least do Saturday if that's okay with you guys and they said sure and they were like I will give you a booth and a table or a booth and table or the same thing but we'll give you a booth and we'll give you a panel and I was like cool great I mean it's like a 6 hour drive for me and Michael was like oh I'd love to go with and Greg from mythical.

He lives near St. Louis Park so it was very easy to meet for him giving giving away people's locations anyway is so Mike and Mike and I left Friday at about 11 a.m.

and we had we have to take you and Mike a share a hotel room no so Irene's brother also lives in St. Louis Park wow I originally was going to do book a hotel room but Irene was like just text

my brother so I did and they're like of course you can stay with us so and they have two guest bedrooms believe it or not wow and I'm it's see it was very fancy and so we stayed with them and that was a huge help with just cost of getting there and arranging everything and so we get in around 6 p.m.

I actually was close maybe closer to 7 we meet up with Greg right away we go to the hotel where it was taking place it was the double tree and I like it's that I think it's

St. Louis Park so we went to the double tree in St. Louis Park walked around we met everyone we met people from the decks and we met the person who created Pokemon showdown like the programmer person the programmer person they also live in or around St. Louis Park who knew so I guess

St. Louis Park is really near Minneapolis right yes so Minneapolis is the hub of Pokemon culture in the United States of America is what we're determining I mean the person who runs the event said that the Pokemon scene isn't strong in Minnesota I'm not sure if that's like true or not I mean I don't live there so I'll take their word on it but their goal with the Minnesota Polka Khan is to you know restore that bring that up and make that you know a more popular thing

so we met with all those guys and they were they were having like a staff slash group dinner I was like hey guys it was super nice to meet all you I'm going to spend the entire day with you guys tomorrow I would love to see my friends that also live in St. Louis Park my friend Alex and his girlfriend Katie I was like I see them like twice a year so I will see you guys all tomorrow but I'm going to actually go get dinner with them that's reasonable yeah I think so so we get dinner with with my friends

then Mike and I attempted to do the splat fest which was a complete disaster because the as nice as my Irene's brother's house is it's like a dead spot for 18 T so I couldn't tether oh wow like I could I could low Twitter and everything just fine it just wasn't strong enough to play an online game on your Nintendo switch that you could portably take with you to start in the first world problems right there Mike I had a Verizon hotspot so we paid the $35

for like two gigs of data and we played like 10 matches of splat fest it was like 3 a.m. And we had to get ready for the con which started at 10 we went to the con at 10 and there was a couple issues I know you probably have questions will but the main issue that happened was the registration portal didn't work so for my understanding they couldn't actually pull up who registered and who didn't register so they got that resolved a ride

I think it was actually a really great challenge because I just found 1130 wait wait wait wait so they didn't use I'm not going to say ticket master because that would be foolish for them to use, but they didn't use event bright no I don't think so hey hey folks just FYI event breaks already done all the work for you just use event bright all right and not not a sponsor the program but not yet will Anderson gold certified recommendation right there not yet I actually think I could be
