This is what we're going to do this off season.

We are going to do an homage, Cody, to space, the final frontier, the voyages of the Starship Enterprise.

No, space on the basketball court and pace on the basketball court.

And this little thing known as the pace in space. on the

pace and space era and I don't know how when did the pace and space era

and I don't know how when did the pace and space era start I don't know where you draw this line

The reality is that as these things started to come into the game en masse as Chris Bosch started to shoot threes from the

center position as team started to move from one big to get

two bigs to one big to the death lineup 2014, 15, 16.

The league was rapidly changing.

And so on one hand, in 10 years, we could come back.

But who are we kidding?

We're not going to have a podcast in 10 years.

But the people who have podcasts who are talking about basketball in 10 years,

they could come back and they could say, hey, look, we can clearly draw a line

the COVID pandemic, look at all this changes in spacing and shooting and

scoring and strategy. Everything after 2021 or 2022 or something like that is the

pace and space era. But since it's only 2024, we don't want to just do a podcast series on, you know, the last two or three years.

No, no, my friends, we are going to go back a decade and say that over the changing decade, over the pace and space revolution, who are

the best players in class? Who's your best ball handler? Who's your best shooter? I'm saying things we haven't even decided these categories yet.
