Hey everybody, it's Joe here.

I'm on sabbatical this week wrapping up some much needed time away for some rest and

rejuvenation.

So while I'm away, I picked this very special on core episode for you today.

It's been a while since we first aired it, but the topic is even more pertinent today

than it was then.

The title of this episode is The Water Crisis in the face of climate change.

And I'm having that discussion with the author of The Big Thirst, a multi-award winning

bestseller.

Quite a few of you already know and love this book, and it's become a favorite for a

lot of you too.

So I picked this episode out for you today because currently, and in recent weeks and months

past, no matter where you live, there's a good chance that you've either been dealing

with serious or severe drought, or the opposite is your nemesis right now, with much of the

country dealing with severe flooding, such as Kentucky and West Virginia, and recently

just last week, Dallas.

So you all are on my minds right now, and I thought this would be an episode that would

have you thinking even more deeply about water and the impact of climate change and population

increases in how we manage it.
