for us, but I mean, no one knows. We could pretend that it's not double podcast day. It

went well. I, uh, I thought maybe I'd lose steam, but both of our guests, um, were great.

You know, but we talk, we talk. I'm sorry. I cut you off. I was going to say we're the,

the podcast that we're going to talk about right now is Josh Salinger from Bird's mouth design

build out in Portland, Oregon, um, which was a good conversation. There's so much to talk to him

about if you're unfamiliar with him. Um, don't know who he is. Check him out. He does a fair amount

of education, a ton of writing. He's very involved with the building community. Um, so he's a really

good resource. Yeah, I mean, he's, he is very driven by building better homes from for climate,

but he goes on to say, you know, it's for society. Um, and there's a lot of talk about energy

efficiency and building more energy efficiency homes, which, you know, contrary to the conversation

we had a couple of weeks ago where there was an argument against that Josh actually kind of

backed up what he was saying is that energy efficiency isn't the focus here. It's the byproduct

of what is in focus, which is a great way to put that. And I think actually really helps you

understand the, the, the importance of building better, uh, and not just building more energy

efficient. Yeah. And the, he discusses how a lot of the issues arise from designing a home and

then trying to make it energy efficient, rather than designing with that in mind, um, from the

get go and just creating and having the thought process dialed in that leads to more energy efficient

style of home. So, uh, I honestly, I want to get him back on. I have a lot still to ask him. We

discuss some business, um, ideas. So, uh, I definitely somebody I want to hop back on on another
