A bite in me, Jesus says this over and over in John 15, it must be important, but what

does it mean?

In today's episode, we're looking at what it means to live connected to Christ, not just

to be around Him or near Him, but truly connected to Him, to make Him your own, to take

shelter in the walls of Jesus to be transformed by His love.

I need to talk to you for just a minute about your drinking problem.

I need to address your drinking habits.

You may not know or didn't know that you have a drinking problem.

You may consider yourself to be as dry as a prohibitionist, but I would suggest that

you and I have a little trouble with what we're swallowing, because you see the most dangerous

drinks in the world are not those that touch our lips, but those that touch our minds.

Not those that go into our bellies, but really those that go into our hearts.

You know exactly what I'm talking about.

A few swallows of anger is worse than $2 wine.

A day of stress can give you as wired up as a dozen cappuccinos.

And regular bolts of bigotry pack the power of a fifth of scotch.

Some of you may not know, but as you tolerate intolerable thoughts, you're inebriating

the soul.

Consequently, you're finding it hard to walk.
