The battle starts now. Now is when we need your prayers. We needed them before, but we really need them now. When you hear this podcast episode releasing on Wednesday morning, as we always do, things will be getting

very real over here. For those of you just joining us, my daughter was having headaches,

nausea dizziness, was diagnosed with a tumor. Turns out that tumor is a type of brain cancer

called medeloblastoma. She had a 10-hour brain surgery involving four neurosurgeons

on October 6th. And since then, we've been in this waiting period before we start chemo

and radiation. But chemo and radiation and that kind of treatment is where the battle really

begins. And that is also probably where the

hardest parts are going to begin. So probably really, as you hear this, we will probably be

having some tough days. We're recording this a couple days earlier. We will have moved down to Houston

in our temporary quarters there. By that point,

the adults are going to switch back and forth of who is in Houston and who is at home in

Austin with Lane's five siblings. But we've been kind of in the eye of the hurricane.

You know how hurricanes are? It's like you get pummeled. And then there's the

eye where you're like, oh, it's, you know, this is, this is all right. And then you get pummeled again

from a different direction. That's what cancer treatment is like. I am learning. So we need your

prayer. So we're going to talk more on this episode about what's going on, how we are handling things. At some point, this podcast

might get back to our normal topics, but today is not that day because there's still a lot going

on with this whole situation. So I'm going to keep you updated on that. We did the test results

that I was talking about not having

last week. We have those test results now, so we will talk about that. And some surprising supporters

of us, I'll get to that. We, I mean, you know, yeah, we just, all sorts of people are coming out of the woodwork to support us.
