Even within the church one is getting a growing sense of rancor between people over how to deal with racism.

So what does God have to say about racism?

What does the Catholic Church and its traditions actually teach about racism?

Did Jesus have anything to say about racism?

There's actually very little mention of race in the Bible or in the theological traditions

of the church. It's a issue that became really a forefront issue only in the 20th century, but that does not mean

Christianity is neutral on topic. As a matter of fact, far from being neutral.

Christianity has the key language for understanding and overcoming racism and so we turn to our good

friend Father Hugh Barber to help us recover and discover a Christian language for addressing racism. So thank you for doing this conversation with us, Father Hugh.

want to ask you, is there there we know what you know modern theory says about racism

we know what the founding fathers had to say about racism we know all these we know

what William Wells Brown had to say about racism and all.
