Hey there, I hope you're having a great week. If you live in the U.S. and you're listening to this in real time, happy Thanksgiving week.

0:07.5

I hope that we all can take a little bit of time and just honestly be thankful for what our garden season was this year.

0:14.9

I know that we all had our challenges, some more than others.

0:18.9

But I found that the further away that I get from those

0:21.9

challenges the more I realize how much I do have to be thankful for whether that is

0:28.5

in the harvest or whether that's in the lessons that I've learned and I challenge

0:33.2

you to take a moment to do the same as well I don don't know about you, but when the garden season starts

season is an opportunity for learning. While I try to strike a balance in these podcast episodes

0:55.9

that I get a lot of response from you when I do share the lessons that I've learned. And it makes

1:05.5

ideas that I can test in my garden or maybe even explanations of what may not have worked and for what reason.

1:12.3

So I know that I learn a lot when gardeners share their own experiences.

1:16.4

And that's what this lesson is going to be.

1:18.8

Although I have grown a fall garden for several years, each year is a huge amount of learning.

1:25.3

And I love that about the fall garden.

1:27.0

And because so many of you have

1:28.5

talked about fall gardening this year or wanting to fall garden or wanting to level up your

1:33.0

fall gardening I wanted to share with you what I did learn this year because it was quite a bit

1:38.8

so in this episode I'm going to be going into specifics on what I learned with growing broccoli, cabbage,

1:46.4

celery, beets, and lettuce and greens. No matter how long that I've been growing these,
