Today on the pod, we've got Portland Thorns and Venezuela international Dana Castellanos.

She's just 26, but Dana's played everywhere.

She started her career at Florida State, and then she played for Athletico, Madrid, and Spain,

Manchester City, and England, Bay FC, and now she's at the Portland Thorns here in the

NWSL. She's been a pioneer on the international stage playing for the Venezuelan youth and senior

national team since she was 12 years old. What's most inspiring, though, is her commitment to making a

difference for the next generation of women's players in Latin America. Through her foundation,

she's been able to make an impact for young players with big dreams.

And she was so inspiring and just an awesome person.

I had goosebumps talking to her, learning more about her background and everything she's done for

the Venezuela and national team is just amazing.
