Some of these big city district attorneys are all deciding that whole categories of

crime will not be prosecuted.

The federal government can step in to crimes if there are compelling federal interests,

not just interstate commerce interests.

If you walk into a store and rob the store owner at gunpoint, it's going to be a petty

varsity. That's a problem.

Absolutely and Tim at the end of last episode you asked a very good question. How the hell

do these people who get elected not in the legislative branch.

But how do they circumvent what the state and local and federal legislatures have done

by passing laws making things criminal. But they decide they're not going to prosecute

them. As a blank, they're just literally not going to prosecute them.

Francy, I think you were getting ready to answer that one.

Yeah, well, I think it's a great question, Tim and Jim and for everyone on the panel,

I mean, a great example of this, a horrifying example of this to me is California.

The people of California have said multiple times that they want prosecutors to have the

death penalty as an option. I know Jim and maybe some others of you guys don't agree with
