How are you this morning this morning? This is the morning mindset. Now when I ask you that

question, how are you this morning? Where do you go within yourself to find the answer to that question. Have you ever

thought about that? Do you go to your mind and draw out the reservoir of truth from scripture about that question of

how are you? or do you immediately go to your feelings and let your

feelings determine how are you? Do you hear the question I'm asking? We often I think 95% of the time when someone asks

us how are you know

know that's kind of a social convention that we've developed to keep

relationships kind of distant or we go to our feelings, we go to our emotions and say, well I'm struggling

or well I'm not doing real well and it's all based on how we feel it's not based on the truth of God

because God says no matter the circumstance we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

We are new creations, you see, and in that context of truth, we are doing wonderfully every day. We have struggles to face yes we have obstacles to

overcome yes we have hard times to endure yes but we in the core of our being

are doing wonderfully because we have the spirit of God living in us.

We've been looking at the book of Proverbs and trying to apply God's wisdom to our lives through it. In verses 5 and 6, some of the most popular verses in all

of the Book of Provers just gave us a little more than we could bite off yesterday

and chew up so we're going to get back into it

again today it says trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own

understanding in all your ways submit to him and he will make your path straight.

Now we talked yesterday about the aspect of trust.

Trust is relying in someone bigger than yourself, someone who is reliable.

And Solomon is great about telling us we are to

trust in the Lord, in who he is. And we mentioned yesterday that trust is not
