Hi, this is John Joseph Adams.

I'm the editor of several anthology such as Wastelands and The Living Dead.

My latest two books are The Living Dead 2 and The Way of the Wizard.

And I also edit the magazine's Light Speed and Fantasy magazine. And I'm David Bar Curley. My short stories appear in books such as

new voices in science fiction and fantasy the best of the year. And my newest stories are

Cats and Victory and Light Speed, the Skullface City in the Living Dead

too, and Family Tree in the Way of the Wizard.

And today on the show we'll be interviewing Ron Gilbert, lead designer of The Secret of Monkey

Island and Monkey Island too, LaCh's Revenge, which are two of the greatest

video games ever made, and which have both recently

been re-released by LucasArts

as special editions with updated graphics and sound.

So definitely check those out.

And Ron's latest game is called Death Spank, and it combines the storytelling character and

humor of Monkey Island with the action and power acquisition of a Diablo style role-playing

game.
