0:16.2	I'm Christina Pierras and I'm Paul Dickinson. This week we discuss some of the latest news that we are outraged by and optimistic about, and we speak

0:31.3	So this week we're going to speak a little later on to President Hilde Heine from
0:37.5	the Marshall Islands one of the world's most vulnerable countries in relation to
0:40.7	climate change. But just before we do we're going to dive into some of the
0:44.1	most recent news that's been coming up, some of the things that have been getting us
0:47.0	outrage or optimistic around our response to climate change. Christina, where are you
0:51.6	this week? What are you feeling?
0:53.0	Well, I've been rather obsessed about the Adani coal mine in Australia for a while.
0:58.0	That huge coal mine, right?
1:01.0	It's the, it's the, it's the, it would be if it actually opens it would be the first coal
1:05.8	mine opening in that part of Australia in the last 50 years. I thought it was
1:10.9	rejected. Well we thought it was rejected right but the election in Australia has
1:18.6	actually tipped that and I'm both outraged and optimistic about that.
1:25.0	I'm outraged because the new government has now given permission,
1:30.0	all the environmental permissions for that mind to go forward.
1:35.0	Despite the fact that that whole area of Australia has been in a drought for three years
1:40.0	and they're very concerned about where the water is going to come from for the
1:45.9	extraction of the coal. What I'm actually optimistic about is the news that I just
1:50.9	read I think yesterday that there are engineering firms in
