My guest this week is the wonderful comic Ed Gamble and we began as is usual in these times by discussing his

experience of lockdown.

How was your period of the confinement? Absolutely fine to be honest.

The second period of confinement, sort of used to it by then. It felt like I was returning to an old friend, you know,

back in my routine.

It's amazing how, I mean our jobs are very, very sociable, but it's amazing how quickly the introvert can be satisfied

and then doesn't let the extrovert play anymore.

Oh totally.

I mean I'm not, I'm kind of dreading the idea of everything returning to some sort of normality, the idea of having to go to events and see people.

And I like now that there's social rules drawn where you don't you're not allowed to touch anyone.

And you don't get too close to people because then there's nothing to reverse there.

There's no social rules to try and work out

it's just you know everyone knows their place. There's no do I hug or kiss it's

none of that. It's nothing two meters away. You stand as far away as possible to stop yourself

getting or passing on a disease. I have got I don't know where it's come from but I've

started bowing and we're not I'm not going to cursory bow but like a deep I'm meeting the

Emperor of Japan bow a sort of considered slow sort of contraction from the waste and I don't

know why but now I do it to everybody.

Is that on greeting or are you bowing out of situations?
