| 0:00.0 | It's December 27th. I'm Brian Dean Wright, former CIA operations officer, and this is The Wright Report. |
| 0:16.3 | A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Wright Report, Your Daily News, podcast. |
| 0:22.6 | It's a headline brief this morning, heavy on news, light on analysis for this holiday week, but as ever, it is still going to shape America and the world. |
| 0:32.7 | We begin first with international news. The government of Guatemala is telling Reuters news service that |
| 0:38.8 | they will accept their citizens back when Donald Trump tries to deport them, but also they will |
| 0:44.0 | take in illegals from Nicaragua, Honduras, and El Salvador. That's a pretty big deal, folks. |
| 0:50.0 | Mr. Trump and his team are trying to find nations like Guatemala that are willing to accept |
| 0:53.9 | both their citizens back and those from other countries as well. |
| 0:58.8 | That is because nations like, say, Venezuela refuse to cooperate with our deportation flights. |
| 1:05.0 | Reuters is reporting that President Arevolo of Guatemala and his team reached out to Trump a while back to work on this deal, |
| 1:11.1 | taking all Central American illegals as necessary, which, by the way, is about 20% of the overall |
| 1:17.7 | total of illegals in this country. |
| 1:20.2 | Combined that with the promise by President Scheimbaum of Mexico, who has said that |
| 1:24.9 | she will also take back her citizens from the U.S. |
| 1:28.2 | That would be another 40% or so of America's illegals, which means, in all, Trump could get |
| 1:34.6 | rid of about 60% of our illegal alien population if he chooses and Sanctuary City Democrats |
| 1:41.2 | are forced to give them up. |
| 1:43.4 | For what it's worth, President Arevolo is |
| 1:46.1 | apparently motivated to do this deal for three reasons. First, well, apparently Trump makes him |
| 1:51.8 | nervous and he wants to stay on his good side. Second, Mr. Arevalo wants to deal with deportations |
| 1:58.4 | in what he says is a humane way rather than just dumping humans off at a border. |
| 2:03.2 | And third, he thinks that he can take advantage of the skills that these 60% or so of illegals have picked up during their time of living and working in the U.S. unlawfully. |
