This is a two-part episode on breakout players

and later on we'll have a, I guess we'll have a part three when we finally get to the other side of the

aging curve but here focusing on players who we think are going to improve in the

2020 season or the most likely candidates to improve in the 2020 season in a material way that

will have some impact on their team that is positive.

And before we return to the conversation, now that we're going to get

into the meat of sort of our most likely players here, I wanted to add a little bit more to

the conversation based on some statistical research that I did

before recording.

So I mentioned in part one that there are about seven players on average per season who take a material jump based on some

statistical filters that I'd looked at historically. So for instance last year

players who met this qualification of improving by at least one point in my offensive

BPM model which is a nice steady improvement and then also showing positive improvement in augmented plus minus an impact metric stat if we look at the guys from last year
