gonna be light. Today I felt like it was appropriate. I'm in my basement

recording on my phone. I am using a microphone that plugs into the phone, a

sure mic that makes it pretty schmancy for a phone recording. But I felt like,

you know, the light editing, the intimate field feels right for the state of

things, where if you're listening from the future, you're past. You are in a state

where you have passed the coronavirus because that is going to happen. But for all

of us, we're here in the middle of it. And there's a humbling thing as we've

all been reduced to hermits. And I've been reduced to hundreds of episodes

ago where I started this podcast over five years ago recording on my phone.

And there's some kind of full circle thing there that I'll try not to get to,

you know, poetically distracted by. But that's it. There's something there.
