On this episode of the Swallier Pride Podcast, we have Brett Stuckinsnider.

He's a graduate from Missouri State University who has worked primarily within the acute care

setting throughout his career as an SLP.

His experience spans various hospital systems throughout Missouri and Texas, where his main clinical interests involve the management of complex and critically ill demographics, including CVAs, COVID-19, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer,

palliative and hospice care, and pulmonary compromise patients,

including tracheostomy, laryngectomy, and ventilator dependent.

Brett is certified in the completion and interpretation of fees,

as well as modified brain solace studies,

and has served as a student mentor for graduate clinicians

at the University of Texas at Dallas.

He was previously a member of the Baylor Scott and White Stroke Council

and was the staff representative for the Electronic Health

Records Council at his home site of Baylor Scott

and White Medical Center in Irving Texas, where he continues to work as a PRN staff member.

Brett adopted a new role in health care early in 2022, now serving as a community liaison for a nationally renowned post-acute brain injury recovery center, center for neuro skills.

Within his new role, he focuses on providing rehabilitation access for survivors of acquired and traumatic brain injury by

creating proactive and meaningful partnerships within the brain injury
