Summary

Well, we've seen our fair share of Xbox earnings reports. As expected, there's a lot of negative discourse around it, but this time there are some more troubling facts resting within these underlying numbers. As we've seen Xbox's hardware has been down for almost two years now. That continues in this quarter, so it is not much of a shocker by this point. That is if you only consider the console and not the recently released Xbox Ally. When it comes to gaming revenue as well as content and services, they're down. This is significant because this is all based on the holiday window where we usually see spending go up. In a window where they had the likes of Call Of Duty, which became the number one selling game of the month in December, they still ended up with losses. The likes of Outer Worlds 2, Keeper, or Ninja Gaiden 4 couldn't do enough, nor should they be fully expected to make up that sort of difference. The sum of it all is despite this being one of Xbox's busier holidays, they couldn't escape a loss and that comes shortly after a Game Pass price hike. I was like, I got to have it. Of course. But I'm hanging in, brother. I mean, this has been a tough recovery for me. I'm not even going to lie to you much longer than I expected, but I just might as well get straight to the health as well stuff for me. So we had our abscess. We had our biopsy. We went back for post-op analysis. We are cancer-free initially. So that is good news, right?

So what about like full recovery where I don't have to do all this stuff that I got me doing? And for those who are familiar with the word sits baths and gauzes, I'm in that life right now. I hate it. It's very dreamy life. Yeah, I'm a baby. I'm a baby. Todd Le Cog. That's literally what I'm doing. Like three times a day. It's often. It's often. So anyway, so he was like, look, it's going to be another three weeks. Like three weeks. Oh, no. So the good news, we cancer free. The bad news is the recovery still goes on, you know, but look, it's a blessing. And then at the end of the day, stage two will be the next level of cancer screening. And then we're graduating to the colonoscopy, which is in that four to six-week period, where we could get that and get official, more official confination and preventative stuff long-. So we're on that way. So we get it. But at least I look at it this way. Monday is a target day. I get to go back. I'm dying. Two weeks without no, Jim, I feel like I lost all my gains. Your boy ain't feeling strong no more. But I'm hanging it.
