Hello and welcome to episode 265 of Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.

Today on the show we'll be discussing Rick and Mordy, a dark and irreverent science fiction

cartoon that airs on Cartoon Network.

And this will involve spoilers for the first two seasons as

well as the season three premiere so just be aware of that and I'm joined by

three guests. So first up we've got our producer John Joseph Adams. He's the editor of Light Speed and

Nightmare magazines and he also oversees John Joseph Adams books an imprint of

Holden Mifflin Harcourt. He's the series editor of the Best American Science

Fiction and Fantasy and he's also edited many other anthologies

including the recent books Cosmic Powers, Loosed upon the world and the Mad Scientist's

Guide to World Domination. So John, welcome back.

Good to be here. I'm actually a John from a slightly alternate, you know, universe,

but you guys probably won't be able to tell the difference.

Then next up we've got Matt London, making his 17th appearance on the show.

He's a video game designer and author whose eighth continent novels a series of science fiction eco-adventures
