Welcome back to another episode of the Faith in Business podcast. I'm your host, Mia Renee, and this is

the place to be if you want to keep God at the center of everything you do as an entrepreneur,

as a leader, and as an influencer. Let's get into another powerful topic. All right, this

podcast episode is really just a simple reminder for you and for me to let our light shine. And I want to talk

about what that even means because this world is very caught up right now in, you know, having influence,

having impacts, building a brand, launching a podcast. I'm big on all of that. You know, I've lived much of my life doing that and

teaching other people to do that. But today, I really just feel called to remind all of us that

being a light is in our day-to-day actions. It's in our day-to-day interactions with who's right

in front of us right now. It could be driving down the road, how we're

trading other people. It could be how we're trading the waiter or the waitress or when we're

standing in line. And the truth is these are the areas that all of us fall short every single

day, right? You're rushing. You're in a hurry. You've got something going on. You feel like

your urgency is more important than someone else's urgency. And oftentimes we don't shine our

light at all. We are shining our flesh and looking like the rest of the world. I mean,

we all are guilty of that. We all fall short on a regular basis. But I want to share a couple things that

can help us to be a light in our day-to-day interactions. But first, I just wanted to remind you that if

you're feeling like you're behind as we wrap up the year or two, if you feel like I'm behind,

I didn't get what I wanted to get done, I didn't launch the thing or I didn't grow my influence

the way I wanted to grow it. If you're feeling behind, I want to remind you right now that your

true ability to shine your light is in your day-to-day interactions. It's how you're treating the people

right in front of you. And if you're winning at that, if you're succeeding in seeing the fruit of the spirit come out of you,

you're winning.
