It's just small annoyances of things that I probably wouldn't parent that way. But you know what?

They can have two separate ways of being parented in those situations, of being grandparented in

those situations. My own parents are so different than my in-laws. So they have two literally

opposite sets of grandparents when it comes to buying gifts, the types of activities that they do.

If the laundry is done versus if they're literally covered in mud, they come back from those types of trips completely opposite.

And I'm like, you know what?

If they have a little bit of different personality in those weekends,

it's not the worst thing in the world.
