really you know I was thinking about the show for a while because we've been hovering around the issue of task management and before you turn your dial out there, you know, we've done shows on task management applications, but during the David Allen show we kind of got into a thing about the brain and why task management is hard and I wanted to dive deeper on that and who would be better than that than Kourash who is not only wrote a book on called Creating Flow with Omni Focus, which is probably one of the best books out there on using omnivoc and task management in general,

the Kudurash is also a practicing physician

and I'm gonna screw it up, Kudurash.

What is the exact specialty?

So I'm a psychiatrist and a psycho analyst.

Yeah, I thought that was it, but I thought if I said that I would get it wrong.

So anyway.

And so he's spent a lot of time thinking about motivations and why task management works and doesn't.

So the vision for this show was not only to give everybody a good show about tips for managing tasks and we are going to talk about that stuff but also about why this is so difficult for us humans and hacks we can use to help ourselves get better at it.

So I'm actually kind of excited about this show. It's a little out of the ordinary

for us and I hope that everybody out there enjoys it. Before we get into it too

deep there's a little bit of an audio issue with this show it's kind of a

funny story. Kourash lives right in the middle of downtown Chicago and the the

bucket band which is world famous in Chicago. They they have a bunch of

plastic buckets and they show up in front on streets once in a while just stop and start a concert.

Well, today they're doing it right under the study window of Corrash's home.
