He was the first VR director for Time magazine with an experience about the Holocaust created as a companion piece for the Ken Burns documentary, "Defying the Nazis: The Sharps’ War." He has since partnered with Van Jones to create the Messy Truth VR experience, a virtual reality series starring Marvel actors designed as a curriculum for empathy. Most recently, he directed the first AR short film for Disney+ called "Remembering." Elijah has also directed VR experiences for Aloe Blacc, PBS, Laird Hamilton, HBO, and Michael Pollan.
