Pamela Peeters’ family moved from Holland to the Belgian countryside. “I began observing the space around me, sharing the love I had for nature.” By age 12, she was already finding ways to help the environment by creating a magazine. Pursuing her passion, she became an environmental economist. With two Masters Degrees under her belt and two theses on sustainable development, she moved to the U.S. in 1999. She created Our Planet TV show, the Sustainable Planet Film Festival and Sustainability Week NYC and Belgium, and a weekly radio show, Our Sustainable Planet, on local National Public Radio.
