Summary
Have you ever felt like every time you go to do something REALLY important, all hell starts to break loose, like the entire universe starts to conspire against you? We’ve all been there and in fact, Neil and I were just there last week as we prepared to speak to a youth group about the power of addiction recovery through the 12-steps and the atonement of Jesus Christ. I’ve also been studying a book called The War of Art, which is all about his topic. So today’s podcast breaks down the why of what this is, and the what in what to do about it. Remember this the next time you feel discouraged to the point of wanting to quit, that that IS the point of the resistance, but you’re stronger and now you’re smarter too, and you can overcome it. Send this to a friend who might need this same encouragement and if this episode speaks to you, we’d be so grateful if you left a review or shared it on social media (tag me @corrinestokoe so I can repost it).

| 1:06.3 | It is amazing. |
| 1:07.8 | The first time I heard about it actually was from Brooke, my sister Brooke, she was like, |
| 1:11.7 | you really should read this. It was when I was creating the becoming code free boot camp and I was just |
| 1:16.8 | kind of telling her some of the things that were difficult that were coming up. And she was like, |
| 1:22.3 | oh yeah, anytime you're creating something new, that's going to happen and you should read the war of art. |
| 1:27.4 | And I thought about it |
| 1:28.8 | and then I think I was just so deep into my course creation that I didn't circle back and then |
| 1:34.6 | in my book writing which is what I'm deep into right now the kind of the formula that I'm using |
| 1:43.1 | is AJ Harper's write a must read which if you're writing a book, you have to read that book because it's amazing. My friend Spence, who's been on the podcast a couple of times, Spencer Taggart told me about the book, write a must read. So I started reading it and I've been using it. I mean, that has been like my template for writing this book, but she references the |

| 2:07.0 | And she talks about how she fan-girls over Stephen Pressfield when she met him and just |
