Welcome back to another episode of the three-man-weep College Basketball podcast. Yes, folks, that is the voice of Jim Roots. After missing an episode I am back to host this one.

I'm joined by Matthew Cox and Kai McHugh and my fellow

Chicago residents. How about that boy? We are within, I don't know, roughly about a mile

and a half radius of each other. And we've got a recreational basketball league starting on

Monday. Kai, how pumped are you? Dude, I'm so pumped. I cannot wait. Now, I have gotten injured the last two times I've played basketball. So I'm hoping that's not a trend. Hope that doesn't continue. We're over 30, Matt. Third times a charm, not getting injured. Yeah. Should be good. I actually said I'd never play pickup or organized basketball even after last session, Kai. So that lasted all the two months of conviction.

But we're back at it again, baby.

Lay some up. Yeah, this could be the swan song. We'll see how it goes. Kai, my new apartment has a, has a court. So I'm going to get some Js up before then. Oh, yeah. You guys do have one of those little. That's nice. Nice little feature. Manity.

And then we have got an interview with Mr. Sam Vasini of the athletic talking draft,

but from a little more of a college lens and philosophical perspective on player fit,

that type of thing. We didn't just go player by player. We tried to make it a little bit different. But Kai was not able to join us. No shade at him. I was not on for Mr. Barry Hinson. Matt missed the mailbag. We're kind of taking our rotating. Get out of jail free cards. Right, Kai? That's right, Jim. And, you know, too many cooks in the kitchen. You guys probably just chopped it up with Sam in such a fun way, and I can't wait to listen to it. There we go. It is kind of fun to listen to your own podcast when you're not on it. I did that on my drive from Vegas, listen to the Barry Hinson interview. Thoroughly enjoyed it, although there were like one or two points where you guys were searching for a school that a guy was from and I'm screaming
