So it goes back to when I was 20, 14 years ago. I was looking for a room to rent in San Diego where I grew up my whole my life.

He had already established a good friendship with like the crew and Madrid, like the skaters back in the day when he lived there on like a foreign exchange student thing.

And so when he was back in San Diego, well, he's originally from Maine, but when he was living in San Diego, all those dudes from Madrid, they came out for a year.

They all got visas and came out for a year to stay in San Diego and some of them went to school or like got the student visa, came out to skate and shit.
