There are a lot of loud voices out there speaking to our friends, our children, and to us about

how to live our sexual lives. Although these voices try to drown out God's beautiful message

about our sexuality, he's not going to be silenced. God is using people everywhere to spread

truth, and he's using authentic intimacy.

This is Julie Slattery. At Authentic Enimacy we've been teaching people about God's

design for sexuality for over five years and we are producing materials that are changing

lives. Listen with me to Amber's story, a woman who went through our passion pursuit and rethinking sexuality studies.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I thought that the Bible was silent when it came to sexuality,

but after passion pursuit and rethinking sexuality, I was like, I feel like God is using a bullborn to address our sexuality.

It's made a tremendous impact in our marriage and I can flesh out

all the distortions that the world has created and pursue wholeness, which might sound kind of

boring to somebody else, but pursuing sexual wholeness in marriage is actually really fun and

exciting. You know, even after learning that sexuality, you know, in marriage and everything is all good.

I still struggle with thinking that pursuing sexual, like, intimacy in my marriage,

I felt like I was somehow contributing to the ugliness in the world.

And Dr. Julie said something along the lines of thinking about sexual

intimacy with my husband as a path to reclaiming God's territory and when I think about

I think about that I'm just like all right game on, like, let's pursue passion.

And I'm just happy to be able to hopefully be a light to somebody to say, like, you know,

God really does care about you and he cares about your sexuality and he wants you to have a great sex life.

When there's a safe place for Christians to have conversations about sex and intimacy and to really learn what God's word has to say on these subjects, Satan's lies are exposed

and people find healing. The work at authentic intimacy is increasingly needed to break through
