As they come, born and raised in Franklin Idaho, she's a Benson and a Parkinson, and when I just

started having my crisis of faith on us at BYU, Mom became a dialogue and a Sunstone subscriber.

And she's been attending Sunstone faithfully and reading dialogue for, I don't know, 20 plus years.

And I can't tell you how meaningful and affirming it's been to have a parent who understands,

and actually I have two parents, three if you count her husband, but to have parents who understand

your journey and don't judge you and support you all along the way, I probably could never have

done the podcast if I had parents that ridiculed and judged me and made me feel terrible. I wouldn't

have felt comfortable even starting. So, Mom, thank you. I want to spend a little time recognizing
