I know it's weird to hear my voice first but Alice is on her way to Alaska

and a trip that's going to take like 20 hours.

So we wanted to do some sort of instant reaction

to the hearing today, the big hearing in the Delphi case,

and we thought, what are we going to do?

Who can we look to for expertise who might be able to

help us on this and who better than Bob Mata the awesome host of the Defense

Diaries who was actually there today.

So we're so excited to have Bob on the show.

I'm super excited to to join you. So I was thrilled. I was actually coming back. I had gone down to Delphi. I decided last I knew I was going to go but I was still waffling because I didn't know if I'd be able to get in because of the whole fact that the documents are sealed, so I didn't know how the judge was going to handle that aspect. So when you hit me up, I was on my ride home, man, I was thrilled, I was over the moon to be able to join you.

I've been dying to do this with you because it's such a good fit.

I mean, prosecutor, former defense attorney, I think we'll have a blast. I think we'll have a really amazing conversation and we can kind of play off each other. So I'm really looking forward to it. If you all don't know me, I have a little podcast called Defense Diaries.

We are currently about halfway through our second season.

It is, unlike Brett analysis,

where I know they'll do some five, six episodes

on some of the bigger cases but we're serialized so it's one

season is a long run our first season went 36 episodes in retrospect I would have done two separate seasons of that.

I would have broken it up.
