I want to continue the theme we began last weekend. We were talking about what it means to be in Christ.

And I shared with you a dozen different expressions the scripture makes that when we are in Christ come to our lives

they're either describing us or their gifts God has given to us or their attributes

of his character or his kingdom that are available to us.

The being in Christ changes everything. It's something of a technical phrase.

It's used more than a hundred times in the New Testament, and in each case it describes a state of

existence to be in Christ is the life we lead after we have experienced our

initiation into the kingdom of God.

Now we use different words for that initiation.

Some are more familiar with being born again.

Some call it conversion.

Some call it salvation.
