the podcast. Amy is the founder of Breakup Boot Camp and she's the author of a brand new book called Unsingle,

which just came out this week. So I had Amy on a show like two years ago. Her episode is number 70.

which is a five-stage framework that helps you figure out exactly where things are breaking down.

So you can stop blaming things like the city you live in or your age and actually troubleshoot the right thing.

We also get into why people skip the most important stage of the funnel, the difference between

dating as a personality game and relationships as a character game, and how to know if you're

over-acheing yourself out of a real connection. Amy also shares why what attracts you in the beginning won't be what keeps you happy in the long

term and what to optimize for instead.

At the end, we answer a dating dilemma from someone who's had a crush on a coworker for seven months

and finally got the date, but now she wants to know how to take things slow.
