Well, I'm excited about this episode because my guests, Aaron and Jennifer Smith,

have walked through something in their marriage that so many of

you write to us about. And it's something that I personally have experienced pain during intercourse.

Aaron and Jennifer are going to share their story of disappointment on their honeymoon night

and feeling like they were the only couple in the world who couldn't enjoy sex.

And then they'll talk about

four years of coming up empty as they search for reasons why Jennifer was experiencing so much

pain. And of course, they'll also share what turned out to be the solution for them. Now, we didn't

talk a lot about the years that followed that, but I know Jennifer is written in her book Unveiled Wife that it took a lot of time be fully healed from the negativity

and the anxiety she felt around sex while things turned around physically

quickly true intimacy between her and Erin still had to be built over time but I

want you to hear the decision they made to surrender to each other and to be transparent

before each other.

I think it's a great example to help us understand why covenant love is such an important

part of God's design for sexuality.
