Hey there, how you doing this morning? This is Carrie Green from Live Build Change and I am here with the morning mindset once again.

This is our opportunity together to join around a passage of scripture or a

concept from the Bible and get our minds right for the day. We want to think

through this thing we call life. We want to think through this thing we call life.

We want to think through what God says about it.

So that we can live this day, this day, not tomorrow, not next week,

this day, in a way that brings glory to God and brings happiness and joy to us.

I want to start out by asking you a question this morning. What role do you play in the lives of others?

And of course that's a very broad question.

There are a lot of others out there, right?

There's those in your family, there's those at your workplace,

there's those in your neighborhood, There's those others at the grocery store. I mean you get the picture there are a lot of people I could be talking about

So let's focus in just on the people who are closest to you or in closest proximity to you most of the time.

That would likely be people in your family or if you're a single person it could be a roommate

could be friends at work. Okay, just think about those people, who are those people?

And what role do you play in their life?

Is that a question you've thought about very much? I mean for some of us it's pretty easy to give at least basic answers. I mean I can say I play the role of a husband in my wife's life. I play the role of a husband in my wife's life I play the role of a father in my

kids lives you see some of those categories are pretty well defined for us but I

want to go a little bit deeper because those labels, husband, father, friend, daughter, son, those

labels have definitions already poured into them. We know what those words mean.

But there is a role that I want to suggest to you

that the Bible very clearly encourages.
