Welcome back, everybody, to The Incomparable podcast.

Every year for the last few years, we have looked at the nominees for the Hugo Awards,

which has long been one of the finest awards

in the world of science fiction, a little less so lately, a little less so since we started

reading all the nominees, if I got to be honest. But I always love the Hugos and I always

loved reading. It makes a good reading list to check out, especially the novels in the Hugo

Awards category. And so we are going to continue our tradition by talking about

Hugo nominees in this episode. Before the Hugo nominees are given out at Sasquan in Spokane in

August, which I should mention, by the way, many members of the Incomparable will be appearing at

that convention and performing the incomparable radio theater and probably will be recording

a special episode then, too. So we will be a part of the magic joining me to talk about the Hugo
