0:05.9	I'm your host Heather Ashley and today's case is out of Moioc, North Carolina.
0:10.6	Small talk sucks, so let's dive in. Paul Jandreau held the highest enlisted rank in the US Navy at Command Master Chief.
0:32.2	He was known for having an incredible work ethic while also being as
0:35.9	charismatic and outgoing as they come. Because of his position in the Navy, Paul needed to live as close to the base as possible, which was in Norfolk, Virginia.
0:45.3	He wound up settling down about 30 miles away in Moioc, North Carolina, just over the Virginia border.

1:38.0	By 2002, Paul was 42 years old. He'd been married a couple of times in the past and

1:56.0	like it might have found him. Paul had started working out a lot, and one day when he was at a
2:00.8	kickboxing class, he met a woman named Letitia Marie
2:04.8	Eskew. She was a 30-year-old who worked in human resources and had also been
2:09.6	married a couple of times. Letitia grew up modestly in a small North Carolina town and
2:14.9	prosecutors later told investigation discovery that they believe her
2:18.8	upbringing may have driven her to seek a wealthier lifestyle through relationships with older successful men like Paul.
