drives me a little bit crazy, but I understand how we got here, and I understand why we're

thinking about it wrong, and I want to set the record straight, at least the record as I see it.

So, if you are familiar with the five stages of grief, which was created by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross in 1969

and documented in her book on death and dying and then later on grief and grieving,

the five stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and lastly acceptance.

And so because of this work, well, because people have

misinterpreted this work, a lot of us are walking around wondering if we have reached acceptance,
