Hello, I'm Alan, hey, train in the house.

Thank you all for being here with us for this podcast.

I think if we had recorded this podcast about 24 hours ago you would have had a very different

podcast to very sad hosts crying snodding crying,

snotting, mourning, ugly crying,

worrying, pacing.

It was very, it was very difficult past 24 or so hours, but we're through it now.

I found myself just walking in the backyard,

pacing around with hands on hip, looking at the sky.

I did that a few times. It was a bad and let me just give you a little tease.

Now that we can sort of kind of breathe I almost killed our dog and I take full responsibility for it,

and we'll get to how I almost killed the dog in a minute.

But I think this story will hopefully

serve as a public service announcement for pet owners who aren't aware that there are

dangers in your home and that are perfectly fine for humans but they could kill your dog if you don't keep an

eye on them and just watch them like hawks it was really a bad bad scene but we're

through it and we'll get to all that in just a minute.

But we'll get into that. Yeah and I understand you said you had some letters and things too. You told me earlier this evening.

Yeah, we have a few letters. We haven't done a listener mail in a while so yeah, yeah we actually have quite a few letters.

Yeah, so we've got a lot to get to and honestly we could do the entire podcast about how sorry I am.
