0:22.2	So, Lucas, we brought you out of the show because you're a really interesting guy and you got a great background.
0:29.9	Can you tell us, let's just start off and tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do.
0:36.9	Well, so I currently currently I'm a chief technology officer at the Forte Group.
0:43.3	The Forte Group is a technology solution provider, software outsourcing company based in the U.S., but with resources that are global, primarily in Eastern Europe and Latin America.
0:57.6	Prior to this, I was CTO at a wealth management firm and prior to that I helped grow a very similar
1:03.8	company called Byrdus Dev, which was primarily focused on, well, the. market, but with engineers in Latin America.
1:14.0	I'm probably what you'd call a very non-traditional CTO, although the more people I talk to
1:19.4	in the industry, the more I realize there's some common themes.
1:23.1	I did not get a technology degree.
1:26.4	I have a philosophy major and joined the job market at a time when technology was really
1:33.5	leaps ahead of what you could learn in college and really learned how to program on the job
1:41.3	when there was a lot of change going on. So I started working in a bank,
1:47.4	doing a lot of reporting and data analysis and utilizing a tool set that was, most of this was
1:58.5	Microsoft products, but there was no way to study that.
2:03.2	And you just learned on the job.
2:04.5	And then from there, I grew and tried a bunch of different things.
