Today's episode is going to come from Instagram and it is most definitely like a get to the point kind of question. The question is was it

hard to wait to have sex until marriage? And hi Instagram I'm waving at you

because I'm literally recording this episode right now and it's going to be

uploaded tomorrow but for everyone already listening to this episode let's get back to

the question so was it hard to wait I would say very much yes and very much no

depended on the day depending on the situation.

I decided to wait when I was pretty young and then it really wasn't difficult in my

teen years because I wasn't really like I didn't really date a lot and so as far as like the

temptation or what not that didn't really show up until a little bit later and so I

will talk about that but let's start with my teen years at

first that the reason why anything in the context of dating or the only thing that

was difficult in the context of dating as a teenager was just feeling like

I was the only one that wasn't dating and just feeling different and

feeling left out but there were so many things in my life that caused me to

feel different and left out that dating was kind of like number four or five on the

list of ten so I didn't really think about it all the time.

So that was a little bit challenging just to feel like,

well, I'm not the, you know, all my other friends are making out

or other friends are, you know, having sex,

other friends are doing this.

I didn't so much want to have sex and want to make out. I just felt like, okay, I'm different and I don't like to be different. I don't like that people pick on me for being different. At the same time, I was really intentional about surrounding myself with people that were of a like mind and so if that meant that I wasn't always at all the parties and I wasn't always you know at this overnight trip or at these sleepovers
