Hi everybody, this is Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe

Gardner Show.

Today's going to be a fun episode, and it came about because of the recommendation or

question from two of our students in our online gardening academy in the community forum.

And one of our members, Mark Crawford, was interested in learning about peppers to the

level that he's learned about tomatoes from a resident expert and well-known Craig Lehulier,

one of the world gurus on everything tomatoes.

So Mark was interested in finding his counterpart in the world of peppers, noting that they

could be divas as another one of our community members, Jeff Hayes, and so eloquently described.

And although there are lots of pepper heads, sites, and forums on the internet, knowing

the science-based information versus the myths would be great.

And that's what our students have really come to expect and love from the information

that we provide.

So the other member that I'm referring to, Kay Waters jumped in and said, I love that

idea.

Growing peppers would make a great podcast too.

And so we picked up on that as we read the thread and invited Kay to email us with that

information so that we could make note of it and add it to our list of topics to research.
