Hi everybody, this is Joe Lampel, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe Gardner

Show.

Today, we get to have the opportunity to once again welcome Meg Koutin onto the podcast.

She's well known for her vegetable gardening skills, especially when it comes to finding

ways to successfully extend the season on the front and the back end of what most people

consider the traditional time to grow their edibles.

Meg has never been one to stay between the lines and pushing the limits with what she

can produce from her frigid northern Minnesota garden defies the odds, yet Meg not only

does it, she keeps on trying to do it better.

And we went and told her story as you might have heard in a past episode when we took the

cameras and the crew up to her garden to film an episode of growing a greener world a

couple years ago, and we'll have links in the show notes for that.

We'll talk about that a little bit later, but suffice it to say it was quite amazing.

So thank goodness she is finally out with her brand new and incredible book all about

this subject on mastering the art of succession planting by growing a bounty of vegetables,

fruits, and flowers.

And the title to her book is perfect for the subject, plant, grow, harvest, repeat.
