I'm really excited to be here. I'm looking forward to this conversation. It's a topic we have not

chatted about, I think, maybe ever on this show, but certainly not in quite some time. We're going to

talk about Mark's entrepreneurial journey, how he got to where he is today. He's been an entrepreneur

for quite some time.

And in his insights on what he specializes in today,

which is helping people buy and sell online businesses.

So Mark Doused is the founder and owner of Quiet Light Brokerage. That's his latest business.

He founded the Quiet Light brokerage in 2007, after assisting a close friend of his to sell that friend's website for a

dramatically higher price than most other websites were even daring to ask for at that time.

Since then, Mark has helped hundreds of online small business owners to maximize the value of

their websites and to divest themselves of those businesses in the

most profitable way possible. In part, Mark has achieved this by embracing his philosophy

that he calls reckless honesty, which is to say that he believes that chasing the most money

for himself at the expense of honesty winds up costing much more in the long run.

It's a great philosophy to have in life and in business. Mark lives in the Minneapolis-St. Paul
